Bagan is the richest archiological site in South-East Asia. The remaining place of 11th -13th century pagodas, temples, monasteries and other religious evidences. It’s about 630 km (390miles) from Yangon.
Pakkoku is another commercial town at the west of Ayayarwaddy river. Former time British made Pakkoku into a trading center on the river. It takes about 45 minutes drive from Bagan.
Mt.Popa, is an extinct volcano about 50 km southeast of Bagan. It is home of the ‘nats’ or spirits and till now the famous Nat festivals are held every year. Just about an hour drive from Bagan
CHIN state is decorated with hazy thick forest, pine trees, rare orchids plants stuck on here and there, taungzalat which is reddish and yellowish chin national flowers spread around, notable for nameless birds & endemic bird of species persuade bird watching travelers. From Bagan to Kanpetlet is about 162 km, 3 ½ hours drive.
